Gautam Gambhir's troubles increased, HC said in the matter of distributing Fabiflu medicine

 New Delhi:

BJP MP from East Delhi Gautam Gambhir seems to be in trouble in the matter of distributing medicines. During the hearing on Monday, the Delhi High Court said that he is an international player, a leader. He distributed medicines like Remdesivir or Fabiflu to the needy but the question is whether this method is right. Can this be called a responsible attitude.

It was said on behalf of the Delhi High Court that Gautam Gambhir did not think that such a large number of these medicines should not be stored when there is such a shortage of them. On behalf of the Delhi High Court, the Drug Controller was directed to see under which provisions the offense is made and who are involved in it, action should be taken after fixing the responsibility.

The High Court made it clear that everyone's responsibility should be fixed as to which doctor gave the prescription for such a large number of medicines, which chemist gave such a large number of medicines on that prescription which were meant to be sold in retail. The High Court said that a clear case is being made in the matter. Therefore, we should only be told what action was taken under which provision.

While writing the order, the Delhi High Court said that these cases are such which should be investigated. Looked at the updated status report of the police in which Gambhir was alleged to have taken more than 2000 strips of Fabiflu. Similarly, looking into the allegations against MLAs Praveen Kumar and Preeti Tomar, the High Court directed the Drug Controller that all these aspects should be probed.
